Since the start MiMove.com has grown tremendously. Now, you can look at tens of thousands of properties for sale in Spain and Portugal. We have also filled MiMove.com with lots of useful information. Here is how easy it is to find and buy your dream home in the sun!
First, a little about our concept and what differentiates us from other property portals on the web. We allow only vetted and checked real estate agents to advertise on MiMove.com. By that, we mean that we have personally met with the agent, visited their local offices, checked out the way they conduct business and their reputation in the market. We only want to have serious estate agents on our portal. We also require that the advertising agent holds the contract with the vendor of the property. That is because we want you, the property hunter, to be well treated and have an enjoyable and safe experience when buying a home when you go through an agent you find our MiMove.com. We also have a whole team in Spain working hard to prevent double listings and adverts for already sold properties. Again, we do this so that you can trust the information on MiMove.com.
When you see an advert with the “Thumbs up”-symbol it is a verified advert meaning our team has checked the information from the estate agent about a property to ensure it is correct. Again, we want you to be able to trust the information you find on MiMove.com. 
For you to be able to find your dream home we provide you with state-of-the-art search functions. If you go under “listings†you will find a link for “filter†where you can search by property type, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms and price. And if you go on to “advanced filter†you have many more choices you can make, like palm trees in the garden, utility room or mountain views. You can also use our “Map search” to find interesting properties in different areas. 
When you have found a property you like, you click on the advert and that will take you to a page with lots of great pictures and information about the property and its surroundings. If you scroll down, you will also see a text about the area in which the property is located. Click on it to learn more about the area. Further down on the property page you will see details on how much it will cost to purchase, fees and taxes. You will also see the contact details of the estate agent.  
 If you would like to save the property for later, you can click on the heart symbol in the upper right-hand corner.
Spain and Portugal are diverse countries and you may know of just a few places. By using our map search or our lifestyle search as well as checking out our area texts you can get to know Spain and Portugal a lot better. The Lifestyle search lets you pick the activities that are important to you and your family and our system then suggests towns meeting your requirements. 
When you know what you are looking for you can create an alert under your MiMove account. Once a week you will then get an email with new properties matching your requirements (you have to do a search first and then save the search). You can also save properties you like and would like to get back to at a later time. You do that under the heart symbol in the upper right-hand corner.

Buying a property, whether at home or abroad, is a big step and there are a lot of things to familiarize yourself with before buying.
