NEW VILLA IN CALPE WITH SEA VIEWS The new luxury villa is located on the outskirts of the urban area of Calpe, next to a Mediterranean pine forest overlooking the Rock, which you will never look at the old way after learning its legend. On warm summer evenings, you will remember this story and thank you for the gift of life in the Mediterranean. The modern villa is located on a plot of 1079 m2, which has an excellent south-east orientation. The first solution was to place it correctly, creating the least possible movement of the soil. We adapt its scope to these topographic conditions, integrating and dialoging with the surrounding landscape. The villa, designed in the shape of the letter L, was created, thus freeing up maximum space within the plot. One wing has two floors and the other has only one. All rooms are south or east facing and offer extraordinary views of the sea and the Mediterranean forest. The house is so integrated into the slope that only two heights are visible from the center of the plot; from a higher adjacent level, it seems that the house has only one floor. This L-shaped scheme covers the site, creating a central open space designed to blend into the adjacent rustic landscape. The uniqueness of this plot lies in the fact that it borders rustic land, so we have a house on urban soil with the feeling of living in a Mediterranean forest overlooking the sea. This new villa is a modern Mediterranean home that combines all technological advances with a design that is in harmony with our Mediterranean landscape and culture. The friendly, warm architecture invites you to feel the Mediterranean atmosphere we envision but is so hard to find in the area. The environment determines architecture, and our climate and landscape shout “Mediterranean!” The light and freshness of the shadows cast on the villa's porch are the main characters; the house has a close relationship with the outside, the interior merges with the outside, and this brings nature into the house. During most months of the year, outdoor spaces will be used as extensions of the house. The east wing on the ground floor houses the heart of the house, the kitchen overlooking the garden and pool, the dining room and living room with fireplace, all connected to the outside world through light traditional Mediterranean wings covered in reeds. The south wing on the ground floor houses an attractive and spacious living room, open to the outside but also opening onto an English patio, which gives us exceptional cross-ventilation and great spatial richness. This light well also illuminates a multifunctional space, ideal for a music room, gym, yoga class, playroom... or an owner's dream. From the large living room you enter the master bedroom, which is thus independent from the rest of the bedrooms on the upper floor. This bedroom has an attractive layout where the dressing room and bathroom connect in a circle without having to go through the sitting area, but without a doubt the most attractive aspect is the private exit from this bedroom to a covered terrace with a Mediterranean porch overlooking the pine forest and the sea. Imagine lying at night with your windows open, inhaling the scent of jasmine, rosemary and lavender... The junction between the two wings of the first floor is occupied by a sculptural staircase that leads picturesquely to the night area on the upper floor, with two bedrooms and three bathrooms connected to a continuous balcony overlooking the sea and the Ifach rock, finally the living area (which can be converted into a third bedroom) with access to two opposite terraces, again cross-ventilation crosses the entire house. The architecture of this house is calm, delicate, with simple volumes and dialogue with the environment. As for decoration and natural vocation: _Large windows with wooden carpentry that fill the house with light and joy, sun protection on these windows with Mallorcan bamboo blinds.
