It is always fun and interesting to read about a property directly from the owners.  They are, of course, the ones who know the property and the area the best. It is a lot easier then, to get a good idea of what the property is like and why you should book a viewing. Sometimes, pictures are simply not enough to do a home justice.

Do your research

The purchase and sales process looks slightly different in the Mediterranean area than what you are perhaps used to. The equivalent of the Land Registry is organized in a different manner. It is also normal that several agents market the same property. The commission is then shared among them when the property is sold. The sale will then be completed at the office of a Public Notary. You can search for similar properties to see the asking prices and you can check out average square metres prices on MiMove Insights and how long it takes on average to sell a property in your area.  It is good to have done some research even before you contact estate agents.

The most important part when buying or selling a property is to choose an estate agent you trust and to do your own research. And of course, as a vendor, you want to make sure your property is viewed by as many potential buyers as possible.
